When you use GoalFlo, we may collect the following types of information:

• Personal Information: Email address, name, or account details — only if you register or subscribe. Authentication is handled through Firebase.
• Financial & Goal Data: Data you provide voluntarily, such as your income, fixed bills, budget buffer, currency, goals, habits, tasks, and the spending decisions you log. GoalFlo does not connect to your bank: we never collect or store your bank login credentials, card numbers, or imported bank-feed transaction history.
• Device Information: Non-identifiable information like device type, operating system, and crash logs.
• Usage Data: Anonymous analytics about how you use the app to improve performance and features.

We do not sell your personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide core app functionality (your daily safe-spend number, habit tracking, calendar-aware task planning, and cross-device sync).
• Personalize your experience (your goals, habits, history, and AI You).
• Improve the App through analytics and performance monitoring.
• Communicate with you about updates, features, or subscriptions.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on your device first and, when you sign in, synced to your own account using modern encryption and cloud infrastructure (Google Firebase). Sensitive data such as login credentials is never stored in plain text. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or misuse.

4. Sharing of Information

We only share your information in limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: For hosting, analytics, and payment processing (e.g., Apple In-App Purchases, Google Play Billing, and Stripe for web subscriptions).
• Legal Requirements: If required by law or government authorities.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or restructuring.

We do not share your personal information with advertisers.

5. Third-Party Services

GoalFlo relies on a small number of trusted third-party services:

• Firebase (Google): authentication, analytics, cloud storage, and push notifications.
• Apple, Google, and Stripe: to process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Calendar providers (optional): if you enable calendar sync, we read your events to schedule tasks around them. Calendar contents are never stored on our servers.

These providers have their own privacy practices, which we encourage you to review. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for data processing (note: this may affect your ability to use the app).
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete, and it is removed from our servers within 7 days. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@goalflo.app.

7. Children's Privacy

GoalFlo is not intended for children under 13 (or the age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

9. International Users

Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside your residence, including the United Arab Emirates. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the App or on our website with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
